Supervise and manage sales staff and cashiers Delegate tasks to sales workers and create work schedules Authorize payments and process merchandise returns Address customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages Maintain inventory levels and order merchandise as needed Generate reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters Recruit, train, and evaluate performance of new sales staff Ensure store maintains visual standards and cleanliness, including displays and signage Perform duties alongside supervised workers Undertake key holding and managerial responsibilities as necessary, such as opening and closing the store, handling escalated complaints, developing marketing strategies, and receiving deliveries.
