Plan and oversee operational logistics for production units or departments. Consult with production supervisors to schedule efficient production runs. Coordinate activities between warehouses, purchasing, and the production floor. Monitor material movement and maintain required inventory levels. Track work orders and ensure shipment and receipt schedules are met. Prepare progress, material use, and production rate reports
