Tasks
· – Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
· – Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
· – Evaluate daily operations
· – Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
· – Monitor staff performance
· – Plan and organize daily operations
· – Recruit staff
· – Set staff work schedules
· – Supervise staff
· – Train staff
· – Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
· – Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
· – Conduct performance reviews
· – Organize and maintain inventory
· – Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
· – Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
· – Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
· – Leading/instructing individuals
· – Address customers’ complaints or concerns
· – Provide customer service
· – Manage events
· Experience in supervising a team of 5–10 people, with computer and technology skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handle pressure and tight deadlines, manage repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
· Demonstrates personal suitability through accuracy, client focus, excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability, and teamwork. Capable of multitasking efficiently while maintaining productivity and quality of work. Willing to undergo a criminal record check and comply with all required security and safety procedures.
