Marine Seafood Inc. is looking for a Refrigeration Technician to join our team. Title: Refrigeration Technician Employer: Marine Seafood Inc. Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time) Wage: CAD 43.00 – CAD 46.00 per hour Working hours: At least 30 hours per week Benefit: 4% of vacation pay, extended benefits after 6 months Location: #204-6901 72nd Street, Delta, British Columbia, V4G 0A2 Requirements ? Completion of secondary school ? Completion of a 3 to 5 year apprenticeship program in refrigeration and air conditioning, or a combination of over 5 years of work experience and industry courses, is an asset. ? Certification or registration with SkilledTradesBC is required. Main Duties: ? Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and other job specifications ? Take measurements and mark out reference points for equipment installation ? Assemble and set in place refrigeration and air conditioning components including motors, controls, gauges, valves, circulating pumps, condensers, humidifiers, evaporators and compressors using hand and power tools ? Measure and cut piping, then join piping runs with welding and brazing equipment ? Install, diagnose and overhaul complete heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems ? Check the system for leaks using testing instruments ? Charge the system with refrigerant, check and test regulators, calibrate the system and carry out routine maintenance ? Repair and replace parts and components throughout refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and heat pump systems ?
