Tasks
· • Conduct studies to determine optimum inventory levels and utilization of machinery and resources
· • Design manufacturing systems to optimize the use of computer networks, robots and materials
· • Find ways to eliminate wastefulness in production processes
· • Plan plant layouts and facilities
· • Supervise technicians, technologists, analysts, administrative staff and other engineers
· • Develop flexible or integrated manufacturing systems and procedures
· • Design and conduct time studies and work simplification programs
· • Conduct studies on the reliability and performance of plant facilities
· • Establish programs and conduct studies to enhance industrial health and safety or to identify and correct fire and other hazards
Experience and specialization
· Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD
· Area of specialization: Ergonomic products
