Ranchland Inn Ltd is looking for a Full-Time/Permanent Housekeeping Supervisor. Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor NOC: 62024 Location: Kamloops, BC Salary: $38.50 per Hour Terms of Employment: Full Time/Temporary Positions Available: 1 Start Date: As soon as possible Job Requirements: Completion of secondary school is required. 1-2 years relevant experience is required. Job Duties: • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure guest rooms and motel facilities are clean, organized, and well maintained. • Inspect guest rooms, hallways, laundry area, and common spaces to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards are consistently met. • Train new housekeeping employees on cleaning procedures, customer service standards, and workplace safety practices. • Prepare housekeeping staff schedules and assign duties to ensure efficient daily operations. • Monitor housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment, and arrange for replacements or repairs when necessary. • Coordinate with the front desk and maintenance staff to ensure timely room availability and prompt handling of maintenance issues. • Respond to guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns in a courteous and professional manner. • Maintain records of inventory, staff attendance, and cleaning activities. • Assist housekeeping staff with cleaning rooms and motel areas during busy periods or staff shortages.
