A family in Victoria, BC is seeking an experienced and caring nanny to provide full-time child care (30-40 hours per week) for two children ages 8 and 11. The successful candidate will be responsible for the children’s daily routine, development, safety, and well-being within our family home. Key Responsibilities – – Provide daily supervision, care, and age-appropriate activities for children – Develop and maintain a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment – Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for the children – Maintain children’s areas in a clean and orderly condition – Help children with homework Requirements – – Completion of secondary school (high school diploma or equivalent) – 1–2 years of verifiable childcare experience (references required) – Criminal record check – First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) – Proficiency in English (spoken and written) – Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit We welcome all applicants that are: indigenous persons, newcomers to Canada, youths, minorities, mature workers and persons with disabilities.
