Hanahreum Mart Richmond Inc. is looking for a Deli Manager to join our team. Title: Deli Manager Employer: Hanahreum Mart Richmond Inc. Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time) Wage: CAD 45.00 – CAD 47.00 per hour Working hours: At least 30 hours per week Benefit: 4% of vacation pay, extended health and dental benefits after probation Location: #1780- 4151 Hazelbridge Way, Richmond, BC V6X 4J7 Requirements • Completion of secondary school is required. • College diploma or university degree is an asset. • 3 years of related work experience in a retail or food store is required. Main Duties: • Plan and evaluate the operations of the deli department, including prepared foods, side dishes and delicatessen sections • Assign daily tasks to deli staff and supervise food preparation, packaging and counter service • Track customer buying patterns to guide product selection, sales projections and competitive positioning of deli offerings • Select which deli merchandise and prepared food items to carry, and set pricing for the department • Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate terms to secure deli products for resale • Develop and implement promotional and merchandising strategies for the deli department • Plan the deli department budget and monitor department revenues • Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues at the deli counter • Address staffing requirements for the deli department How to apply: Please send your resume to hmart.richmond@hotmail.com.
