Tasks
· * Develop and guide the behaviour of farm animals
· * Develop specific plans to prioritize
· * Diagnose livestock health issues
· * Handling animals
· * Monitoring animal health
· * Monitor the calving process
· * Perform livestock feeding
· * Track and report on current feed inventory
· * Feed and tend animals
· * Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
· * Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
· * Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
· * Maintain livestock performance records
· * Milk cows
· * Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens
· * Maintain work records and logs
· * Perform general farm duties
· * Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops
