Responsibilities

· Tasks =
· - Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
· - Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
· - Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
· - Prepare tenders and quotations
· - Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
· - Survey building locations and levels
· - Supervise other workers
· - Estimate costs and materials
· - Operate CADD and other computer software systems
· Supervision = 3-4 people

Credentials

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses = Personal protective equipment (PPE) training, First Aid Certificate
