High Mark Cabinet Doors Ltd. is a well-established quality custom cabinets maker since 1998 serving in lower mainland, British Columbia. We manufacture our cabinetry for new Construction, Renovations, High End Custom Cabinetry and Economic Basement Suites etc. To meet the extensive need of labour shortage, we are looking to hire Cabinetmakers (NOC-72311). The main duties of these positions are: • Study plans, specifications or drawings of cabinets and construct and assemble according to those plans/specifications • Mark outlines or dimensions of parts on wood using ruler, pencil, chalk and marking gauge • Cutting, shaping and fitting materials by operate woodworking machines and other tools such as power saws, jointers, glue, clamps and shapers • Sanding, finishing and trimming surfaces and fit parts and together to form a high level of quality finish. • Instal hardware such as hinges, catches and drawer pulls and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products • Repair or restyle cabinets and related products • Collaborate with designers, contractors and clients for estimate amount • Train and supervise cabinetmaker’s assistant if required Employment requirements o Secondary school education is usually required • Experience: At least two years of full-time experience is required or some high school or college courses in cabinetmaking is usually required Who can Apply: Preference will be given to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residences People who can legally work in Canada are welcome to apply • Vacancies: 2 • Position Type: Permanent Full-time (35-40 hours per week) • Salary: 26.50 per hour ($ 48,230 per year) • Language: English Benefits: 10 days of paid vacation (4%), 4 days of paid sick leave, basic medical coverage until covered by the provincial medical plan and moving allowance (only for people living outside of 20-kilometer radios) and all other benefits according to BC Work Standards Act.
