Everfresh Processing Ltd. is looking for an Assistant manager - wholesale trade to work with our team. Title: Assistant manager - wholesale trade Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time) Salary: CAD 45.00 – 48.00 per hour, At least 30 hours per week Benefit: 4% of vacation pay, extended benefits after 6 months Location: #118-6951 72nd Street, Delta, British Columbia, V4G 0A2 Requirements: - Completion of secondary school - A university degree or college diploma is an asset. - Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience within the wholesale or retail sectors in food and vegetable products Main Duties: - Direct and evaluate the daily operations of the wholesale trade department to ensure peak performance in food and vegetable handling. - Supervise team members and coordinate task distribution to optimize workflow efficiency. - Review industry research and emerging trends to assess consumer needs, project sales targets, and respond to competitive pressures. - Manage the high-volume receiving, sorting, and breakdown of food and vegetable products. - Identify and collaborate with external suppliers to source high-quality goods for resale. - Prepare annual budgets, approve departmental expenditures, and monitor revenue streams to maintain financial health. - Evaluate service standards and resolve customer inquiries or concerns to ensure high satisfaction levels. - Oversee workforce planning, including the recruitment, training, and long-term retention of employees.
