We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to provide in-home care and assistance to an elderly individual. Languages: English Vacancy: 1 Wage rate: $24.75/ hour Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 to less than 7 months On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting: Work in employer’s/client’s home Responsibilities Tasks – Administer bedside and personal care – Assist client with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene – Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk – Feed or assist in feeding – Launder clothing and household linens – Mend clothing and linens – Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties – Plan therapeutic diets and menus – Provide companionship – Provide personal care – Shop for food and household supplies – Prepare and serve nutritious meals Additional information: This position is physically demanding and involves repetitive tasks. The successful candidate must be punctual, dependable, reliable, and honest, with a strong client-focused approach.
