About this role

· We are seeking a dependable and nurturing Home Child Care Provider to care for our 19-month-old child. We hope to find someone who is kind, patient, and truly enjoys spending time with toddlers. They should be attentive and gentle, with a strong focus on ensuring a safe, supportive, and caring environment. We value someone who is engaged, responsive to a toddler’s needs, and committed to fostering a positive and comforting atmosphere.

· Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
· Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
· On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
· Work setting: Employer's home

Tasks

· - Change diapers
· - Assume full responsibility for the household in absence of parents
· - Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
· - Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
· - Bathe, dress and feed the child
· - Discipline the child according to the methods requested by the parents
· - Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the child
· - Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
· - Organize activities such as games and outings appropriate for the child
· - Prepare and serve nutritious meals
· - Prepare the child for rest periods
· - Supervise and care for the child
· - Support the child’s emotional well-being and development

Additional information

Public transportation is available for travel to and from the workplace. The position requires the ability to handle physically demanding duties and perform repetitive tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate demonstrates client focus, excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, initiative, and strong organizational abilities.
