About the Role The P&C Coordinator provides operational and administrative support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring consistent, compliant, and well-organized people processes. This role supports onboarding and offboarding, employee records, benefits administration, training coordination, and employee inquiries, while working closely with managers and the People & Culture team to deliver a positive employee experience. Key Responsibilities Employee Lifecycle Administration Coordinate onboarding activities, including pre-hire documentation, orientations, first-day processing, and probation follow-ups Coordinate offboarding activities and administer employee leaves in conjunction with managers and supervisors Prepare and process employment related documentation such as employment letters, promotions, transfers, and compensation changes Employee Support, Programs, and Compliance Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, resolving issues or escalating as required Coordinate employee training, maintain training records, and manage certification renewals Assist with performance management and succession planning processes Coordinate employee recognition programs, service milestones, and life event recognition HR Records, Systems, and Benefits Maintain accurate employee records in SharePoint and/or HRIS systems, ensuring confidentiality and appropriate access Administer employee benefits programs, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with benefits brokers as required Assist with employee surveys, track participation, and support reporting of people related KPIs Cross Functional and Operational Support Coordinate support for employee work permits and permanent residency applications and stay current on relevant immigration requirements Assist Finance with payroll and employee related audits and grant applications Support coop student recruitment and program administration Assist with company events and general office administration as required Experience and Skills Diploma or certificate in Human Resources, or equivalent work experience 1–3 years of experience in a similar HR or administrative role Working knowledge of the BC Employment Standards Act and Human Rights Code Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities Clear written and verbal communication skills Administering benefits programs (enrollments, renewals) HRIS administration (employee records management) MS Office experience Drafting company policies, handbooks and employment contracts Providing support in a manufacturing environment for production employees Working with Oxygen8 At Oxygen8, we strongly believe in building a team that works well together, and we are committed to creating an environment that is inclusive and provides the space for individuals to learn and grow.
