About DriveX Transport: DriveX Transport Inc. is a federally registered trucking company based in Calgary Alberta, specializing in general freight transportation across Canada Job details • Location: 122 Saddleland Crescent northeast Calgary, AB T3J 5K4 • Work location: On site • Salary: 36.00 hourly / 35 to 40 hours per week • Terms of employment: Permanent employment Full time • Early morning, Evening, Morning, Day • Starts as soon as possible • Vacancies: 2 vacancies Overview Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience Experience an asset On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities • Address customers' complaints or concerns • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy • Load and unload goods • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment • Perform pre-trip, enroute and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle • Perform preventive maintenance • Receive and relay information to central dispatch • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses • Class 1/1F/A Licence (Semi Trailer trucks) Additional information Security and safety • Bondable • Criminal record check Work conditions and physical capabilities • Attention to detail • Physically demanding Personal suitability • Efficient interpersonal skills • Judgement • Reliability • Team player You can apply for this job? • Canadian citizen • Permanent resident of Canada • Temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit Do not apply if you are not authorized to work in Canada.
