1. Interpret blueprints, circuit diagrams, and electrical codes to determine wiring plans for new and existing installations 2. Route wiring through conduits, walls, and floors 3. Install supports such as brackets and hangers for electrical systems and equipment 4. Set up, replace, and repair lighting systems, electrical panels, switches, relays, and other control and distribution components 5. Connect wires by splicing and joining them to form complete electrical circuits 6.Use testing devices to verify circuit continuity and system safety after installation or repair 7.Diagnose issues in electrical and electronic systems and replace malfunctioning parts 8. Hook up electrical power to communication systems, audio/visual equipment, signal devices, and HVAC systems 9.Perform routine maintenance and keep detailed service and maintenance records 10. Other duties as required Minimum 35 hours per week
