Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Aide to provide essential care and assistance to a senior individual. In this role, you will support daily activities, promote independence, and ensure the senior’s overall well-being in a respectful and dignified manner. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming - Prepare meals and assist with feeding, as needed - Administer medications in accordance with prescribed instructions - Provide emotional support and companionship - Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment - Monitor and support the senior’s physical and emotional needs - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best care - Accompany the senior to appointments or outings when required Requirements: - Previous experience in senior care, personal support, or a related field preferred - Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus - CPR Certificate and First Aid Certification considered an asset - Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and attentive care - Familiarity with home care, assisted living, or long-term care settings - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Comfortable with a range of caregiving duties and responsibilities - Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect personal privacy
