Custom Craft Cabinets Ltd. Cabinetmaker Job details • LocationBurnaby, BC V5J 5A4 • Salary $36.60 hourly / 40 hours per Week • Terms of employment: Permanent employment/Full time • Day, Early Morning, Morning • Starts as soon as possible • Vacancies: 2 vacancies Languages - English Education - Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience - 3 years to less than 5 years On site - Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Tasks • Operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers, to cut, shape and form parts and components • Prepare specifications of custom-made cabinets that maximize storage • Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces, using hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or wood files. • Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made • Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit and reinforce joints • Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics • Apply varnish, veneer, stain or polish to finished products • Maintain clean and safe work environment • Supervise other workers • Estimate costs and materials You can apply if you are: • a Canadian citizen • a permanent resident of Canada • a temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit Do not apply if you are not authorized to work in Canada.
