Fan’s Chinese Restaurant, located at 451 Windmill Rd, Dartmouth, NS B3A 1J9, is looking for one Full time, Permanent, Restaurant Operations Director – NOC 60030. Aboriginal people, visible minorities, Canadians, Newcomers to Canada and Permanent Residents, who can demonstrate required education and work experience are all encouraged to apply. You will be responsible for overall operations of Fan’s Chinese Restaurant. - Annual Salary: $46,800, based on $30.00/per hour, 30 hours/per week. - Education required: Completion of a university degree in business/management related area. - Language required: English - Experience: At least 3 years of previous experience in operations management is a must, and experience in cost management, financial analysis, and online platform management would be a plus. - Website: https://www.fansrestaurant.ca/ You will be performing some or all of the following job duties: - Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations - Conduct performance reviews of cost for products and services - Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance - Participate in marketing plans, implementation, evaluation and improvement - Develop online delivery platforms, including coupons and interactive social media updates - Balance cash and complete balance sheets cash reports and related forms - Organize and maintain inventory - Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices - Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies - Develop, implement and analyze budgets - Address customers’ complaints or concerns - Recruit, train, and oversee staff - Ensure health and safety regulations are followed You must be able to direct more than 20 people.
