About this role

· Wage: 24.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week

· Job Duties
· •Treate patients through the insertion of acupuncture needles and other stimulation techniques.
· •Assess patients’ health conditions, such as minor injuries and muscle strains, and diagnose concerns based on traditional Chinese medicine principles.
· •Manipulate or apply pressure to various parts of the body, hands and feet
· •Develop and implement individualize treatment plans according to patients’ conditions.
· •Monitor, evaluate, and document patients’ symptoms, treatment responses, and progress.
· •Provide health care advice and educate patients on treatment procedures, risks, benefits, and preventive care.
· •Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation in accordance with professional standards.
· •Ensure treatment rooms, equipment, and instruments were properly sanitized and maintained in accordance with health and safety standards.
· Languages: English
· Education: College/CEGEP
· Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
· On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
· Certificates: Registration by the appropriate provincial or territorial authority for acupuncturists
· Area of specialization: Acupuncture
