Tasks Operate heavy equipment Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Measure distance, volume, length and weight Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment Secure special attachments to equipment Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate Equipment and machinery experience Skidsteer Area of work experience Backfilling Demolition Excavation Trenching Work conditions and physical capabilities Physically demanding Attention to detail Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience 1 year to less than 2 years On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment Outdoors Dusty
