About this role
Responsibilities
· • Lead daily studio operations with efficiency and professionalism
· • Develop policies, procedures, and operational strategies to ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry standards
· • Manage staff schedules, inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance
· • Provide excellent customer service, handling client inquiries and concerns
· • Mentor and educate artists on the following styles but not limited to (fine line, biomechanic, traditional, geometric, realism, new school, neo traditional etc.)
· • Monitor financial performance and daily sales targets
· • Conduct artist performance reviews and provide feedback
· • Build and maintain vendor and marketing contracts
· Qualifications
· • 3+ years in a tattoo studio management role
· • Experienced tattoo artist with extensive experience of tattoo techniques, styles, and industry standards
· • Strong leadership and people-management skills
· • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and inventory management
· • Customer-focused mindset
· • Current Blood Borne Pathogens certification
· • Experience with booking systems (Vagaro preferred)
· • Knowledge of health department regulations and compliance
· • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
· • Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
· Asset:
· • Business management or supervisory certification
· • Experience managing multiple tattoo artists
· • Knowledge of laser removal and piercing services
· • Previous experience with high-volume walk-in operations
