Food Counter Attendant Employer: 536183 Yukon Inc O/A Whiskey Jacks Location: #3, 29 Wann Rd 4229, Whitehorse, YT, Y1A 1K2 Workplace information: On site (work must be completed at the physical location; no remote work option) Salary: $20.00 hourly Hours: 35 hours per week Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time Start date: As soon as possible Vacancies: 1 Language Requirement: • English Education: • Completion of Secondary School is required. Experience: • Experience is an asset, however, on the job training will be provided to unexperienced candidates. Responsibilities and Duties: • Greet clients and take food and beverage orders. • Prepare basic food items by washing, cutting, and portioning ingredients by hand and using kitchen equipment. • Operate kitchen appliances such as fryers, grills, ovens, and beverage dispensers to prepare menu items. • Arrange and combine prepared food items, place them on serving plates, and pack orders for takeaway. • Prepare hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, milkshakes, and specialty beverages. • Serve customers at the front counter and tables ensure prompt and friendly service. • Refill and organize refrigerators, condiment stations, and display areas. • Maintain cleanliness of the work area, counters, and food preparation surfaces. • Manage customer payments. • Always follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
