Food Store Supervisor Walkers Grocery Ltd. Beaverlodge, AB T0H 0C0 Work location: On site Salary: 21.00 hourly / 35 hours per week Permanent employment Full time Early morning, Evening, Shift, Morning, Night, On call, Day, Weekend, Overtime available Starts as soon as possible 2 vacancies Job Bank #3577951 Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience 1 year to less than 2 years On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting: Retail business On-site customer service Tasks and Responsibilities: Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.) Assign sales workers to duties Hire and train or arrange for training of staff Order merchandise Authorize return of merchandise Establish work schedules Sell merchandise Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages Organize and maintain inventory Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers Supervision 5-10 people Cashiers Grocery clerks and shelf stockers Retail salespersons and sales clerks Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Tight deadlines Handling heavy loads Attention to detail Combination of sitting, standing, walking Walking Standing for extended periods Personal suitability Accurate Client focus Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Flexibility Organized Reliability Team player You can apply if you are: a Canadian citizen a permanent resident of Canada a temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit Do not apply if you are not authorized to work in Canada.
