We are seeking a Cook to join our Italian-inspired kitchen team, preparing high-quality meals for our restaurant, café, lounge, and catering events while delivering exceptional guest experiences. Key responsibilities: - Prepare and cook Italian-inspired meals and specialty dishes. - Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed. - Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling procedures. - Supervise kitchen staff and kitchen helpers during daily operations. - Maintain inventory of food, supplies, and kitchen equipment. - Clean kitchen equipment, work areas, and food preparation surfaces. - Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of menu items. - Assist with catering and special event food preparation as required. Skills: - Previous work experience of 1 year preferred. - Excellent teamwork and communication skills. - Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Education: - FoodSafe certificate preferred. - Secondary (High) school graduation
