Work setting: Restaurant Job Duties: • To supervise, co-ordinate and schedule staff’s preparing, portioning, and serving tasks. • To order ingredients, herbs, materials, and supplies for meal preparation. • To prepare special notes for chef according to customers’ habits, allergy history, drug conflicts, or ethnic cultural differences. • To record stock, sales, wastage, safety check and repairs. • To train staff in job duties, sanitation requirements and safety procedures. • To keep that food and service do as well as quality standards. • To provide suggestion on selection of food service staff. • To assist in planning cafeteria menus, even related food and labour costs. • Address customer concerns, including dietary restrictions and service issues. • To provide some suggestions that are beneficial to the restaurant’s development based on changes in dining status.
