Job Description: Long haul Truck Driver Employer: JPH TRANSPORT LTD Location: 28857 Downes Rd Abbotsford, BC, Canada, V4X 1S3 Workplace information: On site (work must be completed at the physical location; no remote work option) Salary: $37.00 hourly Hours: 60 hours per week Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time Start date: As soon as possible Vacancies: 3 Job Overview: Language Requirement: • English Education: • Completion of High School is required. Experience: • Experience in a similar field is an asset. Requirement: • Class 1 Driving Licence or equivalent is required. Responsibilities and Duties: • Drive and operate long combination or straight body trucks for long-haul deliveries across local and international routes. • Plan routes and manage trip schedules efficiently. • Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and minor maintenance checks. • Secure cargo safely and ensure on-time delivery. • Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding shipment status. • Follow all road safety and transportation regulations.
