Overview

We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Physiotherapy Attendant/Aide to support daily clinical operations in a busy physiotherapy clinic. The successful candidate will assist with treatment area preparation, patient support, exercise assistance under supervision, clinic maintenance, inventory support, and basic administrative duties.

Physiotherapy clinic

Tasks

· Prepare and set up treatment areas and rehabilitation equipment as directed by the Physiotherapist
· Clean and disinfect equipment such as shockwave machines, traction units, hot/cold packs, and laser machines
· Ensure treatment rooms are safe, organized, and ready for patient use
· Assist patients with positioning and transfers
· Support patients in the use of mobility aids
· Ensure patient comfort and safety during clinic visits
· Assist patients in performing prescribed exercises and range-of-motion activities under the supervision of the Physiotherapist
· Observe patients during activities and report any concerns to the supervising therapist
· Clean and maintain treatment areas according to clinic protocols
· Change linens and maintain a hygienic environment
· Follow infection prevention and safety procedures
· Monitor stock levels of clinical supplies
· Restock and organize inventory as needed
· Report low supplies to management
· Schedule appointments and assist with patient flow
· Perform basic clerical duties, including filing and preparing documents
· Assist in activities for the rehabilitation of patients as directed by health care professionals
· Other routine office functions.
· Skills and qualifications:
· Knowledge of physiotherapy modalities, including shockwave, laser, and mechanical traction.
· Strong patient rapport
· Ability to assist patients with exercises
· Ability to work effectively in a clinical environment
