Job Description: Pizza Cook Employer: Shreeswaminarayan Food Inc. O/A Panago Pizza Location: 216 Anderson Street, Nelson, BC, V1L 3X7 Workplace information: On site (work must be completed at the physical location; no remote work option) Salary: $18.00 per hour Hours: 35 hours per week Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time Start Date: As soon as possible Vacancies: 1 Job Overview: Language Requirement: • English Education: • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent relevant experience. Experience: • Experience in a similar field is an asset. Responsibilities and Duties: • Prepare, assemble, and cook a variety of Panago signature pizzas, individual dishes and foods, according to company recipes and standards. • Ensure consistency in taste, portion control, and presentation of all pizzas and side menu items such as breadsticks, wings, and salads. • Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to meet health and safety guidelines. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza prep stations, kitchen equipment, and work area at all times. • Monitor ingredient levels and communicate with the supervisor or manager for timely replenishment of stock. • Assist with training new kitchen staff on Panago Pizza’s preparation and cooking procedures.
