Their job duties typically include: • Ensuring accurate records of inventory levels. • Conducting regular inventory audits and cycle counts. • Coordinating with suppliers and clients to manage stock flow. • Assigning daily tasks and ensuring efficient completion of duties. • Monitoring staff performance and providing feedback or disciplinary actions when needed. • Ensuring the warehouse adheres to health and safety regulations. • Conducting safety drills and implementing safety procedures. • Maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment. • Developing and implementing strategies to optimize workflows. • Ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment and delivery. • Monitoring the condition of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyor systems). • Ensuring proper use of equipment by staff. • Acting as a liaison between warehouse staff, management, and external stakeholders. • Preparing reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other KPIs. • Addressing client or supplier concerns related to shipping, delivery, or inventory. • Managing operational costs and staying within budget. • Identifying areas for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.
