Cook Employer: Chand Brothers Hospitality Ltd Location: 600 Cranbrook St. North Cranbrook, BC, V1C 3R7 Workplace information: On site (work must be completed at the physical location; no remote work option) Salary: $20.00 hourly Hours: 35 hours per week Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time Start date: As soon as possible Vacancies: 1 Job Overview: Language Requirement: • English Education: • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent relevant experience. Experience: • Experience in a similar field is an asset. Responsibilities and Duties: • Prepare and cook complete meals. • Requisition and managing inventory of food and kitchen supplies • Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are maintained in the kitchen. • Co-ordinate activities of kitchen helpers and assist in their training. • Operate and maintain commercial kitchen and cooking equipment safely and efficiently. • Make sure the finished goods and ingredients are fresh.
