Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and caring Child Caregiver to work in our home. We have three children aged 14 months, 6, and 8 years, with the main focus on caring for our 14-month-old. Job Details Location: Employer’s home (on-site position) Language Required: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year Provide attentive care primarily for a 14-month-old (including diaper changing) Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children Prepare children for naps and rest periods Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment Supervise and care for children, ensuring their emotional well-being Support toilet training by following parents’ guidance Plan and organize age-appropriate activities, games, and outings Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development Prepare and serve nutritious meals Travel with the family and assist with childcare and household duties when needed Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents May perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties Requirements Criminal record check References required Vulnerable sector check Ability to handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs) We are looking for someone who is: Patient, honest, and reliable Organized with strong time management skills Flexible and able to take initiative An excellent communicator (oral and written) Warm, caring, and attentive to children’s needs
