Restaurant Manager Posted by AMAYA REAL INDIAN FOOD Job details • Location : 19 HART DRIVE, Barrie, ON, L4N 5M3 • Work location : On site • Salary : 37.00 hourly / 35 hours per week • Terms of employment : Permanent employment, Full time • Early morning, Evening, Morning, Night, Day, Weekend, Overtime required • Starts as soon as possible • Vacancies : 1 vacancy Overview • Languages : English • Education : College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years • Experience : 1 year to less than 2 years • On site : Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. • Budgetary responsibility : $100,001 - $500,000 Responsibilities (Tasks ) : • Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits • Evaluate daily operations • Monitor revenues to determine labour cost • Monitor staff performance • Plan and organize daily operations • Recruit staff • Set staff work schedules • Supervise staff • Train staff • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms • Conduct performance reviews • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities • Participate in marketing plans and implementation • Address customers' complaints or concerns • Provide customer service • Manage events • Supervision : 5-10 people • Experience and specialization • Computer and technology knowledge : MS Excel, MS Office • Additional information • Transportation/travel information : Public transportation is available • Work conditions and physical capabilities : Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines • Personal suitability : Accurate, Client focus, Dependability, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Organized, Reliability, Team player, Ability to multitask Who can apply for this job?
