About the Role We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable Home Support Worker to provide high-quality care and assistance to an individual in a private household. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting clients with daily living activities and maintaining a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment. Responsibilities Provide personal care and bedside assistance Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene Administer medications as directed by the employer or healthcare professional Support with routine physical activities such as walking or light exercise Feed or assist with feeding, as required Perform light housekeeping and general cleaning duties Mend or care for clothing and linens as needed Offer companionship, emotional support, and a positive presence Qualifications Education: Secondary school diploma or equivalent Experience: At least 1 to 7 months of hands-on experience in caregiving, home support, or related personal care roles. Certifications: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate Language: Proficiency in English is required. Must be able to work on-site at the employer’s residence Work Schedule Shifts may include: Early morning Day Evening Night Weekend On-call as required Preferred Candidate Authorized to work in Canada Experienced in caregiving or similar roles Lives in or near Scarborough, ON Holds required certifications (CPR & First Aid) Indigenous people are encouraged to apply. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 – 44 per week Work Location: In person (Scarborough)
