We are currently seeking a caring, responsible, and experienced Home Child Care Provider to provide attentive and nurturing care for our 2-year-old child. We are looking for someone who is patient, loving, and truly enjoys being around children. The ideal candidate should be gentle, attentive, and committed to creating a safe, positive, and caring environment for our child. Languages: English Vacancy: 1 Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting: Employer's home Responsibilities: Tasks - Change diapers - Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents - Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties - Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties - Bathe, dress, and feed the child - Discipline the child according to the methods requested by the parents - Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the child - Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home - Organize activities such as games and outings for the child, including trips to the park and other age-appropriate recreational activities. - Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks - Prepare the child for rest periods - Supervise and care for child - Tend to emotional well-being of child - Help child with homework when needed - Develop positive communication strategies with the child A valid CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate are required. Experience working with children is preferred, as the position involves caring for a young child. A reference is required for security and safety purposes. The role may be physically demanding at times and may involve repetitive tasks, while requiring strong attention to detail. Additional benefits may be provided.
