Home Child Care Provider

· We are currently seeking a caring, responsible, and experienced Home Child Care Provider to provide attentive and nurturing care for our 2-year-old child. We are looking for someone who is patient, loving, and truly enjoys being around children. The ideal candidate should be gentle, attentive, and committed to creating a safe, positive, and caring environment for our child.

· Languages: English

· Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

· Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

· On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

· Work setting: Employer's home

· - Change diapers

· - Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents

· - Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

· - Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties

· - Bathe, dress, and feed the child

· - Discipline the child according to the methods requested by the parents

· - Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the child

· - Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

· - Organize activities such as games and outings for the child, including trips to the park and other age-appropriate recreational activities.

· - Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks

· - Prepare the child for rest periods

· - Supervise and care for child

· - Tend to emotional well-being of child

· - Help child with homework when needed

· - Develop positive communication strategies with the child

· A valid CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate are required. Experience working with children is preferred, as the position involves caring for a young child. A reference is required for security and safety purposes. The role may be physically demanding at times and may involve repetitive tasks, while requiring strong attention to detail.
