Job Title: Truck Driver Employer: Sandhu Transportation Ltd Location: 5720 84 St SE, Rocky View County, Alberta T1X 0K1 Salary: $36.10 hourly / 40 to 50 hours per Week Vacancies: 5 Terms of employment: Permanent, full-time, 40 to 50 hours/week Start date: As soon as possible Employment groups: Youth, Indigenous people, Newcomers to Canada Overview Languages English Education No degree, certificate or diploma Experience Will train On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting Various locations Responsibilities Tasks Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy Load and unload goods Perform brake adjustments Perform emergency roadside repairs Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Perform preventive maintenance Receive and relay information to central dispatch Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Driver's License (Class 1 or A) Experience and specialization Documentation knowledge Driver logbook Additional information Transportation/travel information Valid driver's licence Personal suitability Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Flexibility Team player Benefits Other benefits Learning/training paid by employer How to apply By email maantransport@outlook.com
