Overview Languages: English Vacancies: 2 Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Work setting: Restaurant Responsibilities Tasks -Establish methods to meet work schedules -Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food -Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures -Estimate and order ingredients and supplies -Hire food service staff -Ensure food service and quality control -Prepare budget and cost estimates -Address customers' complaints or concerns -Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage -Prepare and submit reports -Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys -Establish work schedules The position involves supervising a team of 5 to 10 employees and ensuring smooth daily operations. The candidate must possess a Food Safety Certificate and demonstrate the ability to maintain high standards of food safety and workplace hygiene. The work environment is fast-paced and may require the ability to work under pressure, with duties that involve standing for extended periods and walking throughout the shift.
