Overview Languages: English Vacancies: 2 Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Work setting: Restaurant Responsibilities Tasks -Establish methods to meet work schedules -Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food -Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures -Estimate and order ingredients and supplies -Hire food service staff -Ensure food service and quality control -Prepare budget and cost estimates -Address customers' complaints or concerns -Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage -Prepare and submit reports -Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys -Establish work schedules The position involves supervising a team of 5 to 10 employees and ensuring smooth daily operations. The candidate must possess a Food Safety Certificate and demonstrate the ability to maintain high standards of food safety and workplace hygiene. The work environment is fast-paced and may require the ability to work under pressure, with duties that involve standing for extended periods and walking throughout the shift. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong personal qualities including client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
