Job Description
Work Location: 1570 18th Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 5C5 Wage: $30.50 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week Nature of employment: Term or contract (Morning, Evening, Shift, On Call, Weekend) Start date: As soon as possible Number of vacancy: 1 Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting: Restaurant Job Duties • Co-ordinate special events • Determine the size of food portions and costs • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization • Requisition food and kitchen supplies • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods • Inspect kitchens and food service areas • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment • Clean kitchen and work areas • Manage kitchen operations • Provide advice in the area of food preparation and storage, and food safety • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Food Safety Certificate Cuisine specialties: Japanese cuisine Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment/Physically demanding/Repetitive tasks/Work under pressure Weight handling: Between 45 and 60 kg (100-132 lbs) Personal suitability:Client focus/Excellent oral communication/Reliability/Team player How to apply: please send your resume, required documents and following answers to sobeyssushibar@outlook.com.
