· Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
· Responsibilities/Tasks
· 1. Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts
· 2. Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly
· 3. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
· 4. Repair machine tools and parts
· 5. Set up and adjust production machineries/tools
· 6. Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
· 7. Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments
· 8. Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
· 9. Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
· 10. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
· 11. Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools
· 12. Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
