Provide pre-operative and post-operative personal care and comfort support to patients Deliver nursing services within the defined scope of practice, based on patient assessments and individualized care plans Monitor patients’ progress, evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions, and collaborate with appropriate members of the healthcare team Monitor and manage established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy as directed Monitor and document patients’ nutritional intake to support recovery and overall health Apply aseptic techniques, including sterile dressing changes, to maintain patient safety Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention and control protocols Prepare patients for surgical procedures by washing, shaving, and sterilizing operative areas Clean and sterilize operating rooms, medical instruments, and equipment in accordance with regulatory standards Languages: English Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year Credentials: 1. Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work 2.
