Employer: 1103710 BC Ltd Address: Kelowna, BC NOC Group: Food counter attendants, kitchen helpers and related support occupations (NOC65201) NOC Job Title: Kitchen Helper Positions available (1) Terms of employment: Full time, Permanent Language required: English Expected start date: as soon as possible Wage and benefits: -$18.00 /hourly -10 days of paid holiday -30-40 hours per week Wok Inn Restaurant is a local favorite, taste the best specializes in authentic Chinese cuisines restaurant located at Rutland area in Kelowna. We use only the freshest ingredients that we can find. We are looking for Kitchen Helpers to join our busy restaurant to ensure all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with restaurant operations and have a good understanding of what makes a good team player. You should also be available to work within opening hours, including weekends and holidays. Job Responsibilities: • Help wash, cut, and prepare vegetables, meat, and other food items • Do basic food preparation such as portioning, reheating, and putting dishes together • Pack take-out food orders and drinks for customers • Bring clean dishes, utensils, and supplies to the kitchen and serving areas • Clean and sanitize kitchen counters, tables, equipment, and storage areas • Take out garbage and recycling and keep the kitchen tidy • Unload food deliveries and store items in fridges and storage rooms • Sweep and mop kitchen floors and help kitchen staff with daily tasks Skills & Employment requirements: • Completion of secondary school, or equivalent experience is required • On-the-job training is provided • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment • Available to work daytime, evenings, and weekends as required How to apply: By email: zhangqiaomei2@gmail.com We welcome applications from everyone, regardless of gender and ethnicity, as well as applications from underrepresented groups (aboriginal peoples, youth, older workers, persons with disabilities and recent immigrants).
