Location: 235105 Wrangler Dr., Rocky View County, Calgary, AB T1X 0K3 Vacancies: 8 vacancies Salary: $36.50 hourly / 30 to 44 hours per week Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full-time Start date: Starts as soon as possible Employment groups: Youth, Indigenous people, Newcomers to Canada Overview Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience 1 to less than 7 months On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities Tasks Load and unload goods Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Perform preventive maintenance Receive and relay information to central dispatch Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Driver's License (Class 1 or A) Experience and specialization Documentation knowledge Accident or incident reports Bill of lading Driver logbook Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) Transportation/travel experience Long-haul National Provincial/territorial Additional information Security and safety Driving record check (abstract) Work conditions and physical capabilities Attention to detail Handling heavy loads Physically demanding Repetitive tasks Sitting Personal suitability Flexibility Judgement Organized Reliability Team player How to apply By email xpresstransport497@gmail.com
