Ltd. (dba Sizzling Wok) is a well-known local restaurant located in the food court at Orchard Park Mall in Kelowna, BC, specializing in authentic Chinese cuisine. We take pride in using fresh, high-quality ingredients to provide great taste and consistent quality to our customers. We are currently seeking Kitchen Helpers to join our busy team and support smooth, efficient daily operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and able to work well in a fast-paced team environment. Familiarity with basic restaurant operations is an asset. Availability to work during restaurant hours, including weekends and holidays, is required. Job Responsibilities: • Clean, wash, peel, cut, and prepare food ingredients using basic kitchen tools and equipment • Assist in preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items according to instructions • Transport clean dishes, utensils, and food items to service or preparation areas • Remove kitchen garbage and waste following health and safety procedures • Clean and sanitize kitchen work areas, storage spaces, appliances, and equipment • Unpack, receive, and store food supplies in refrigerators and designated storage areas • Sweep and mop floors, and perform other duties to support front counter staff and cooks Skills & Employment requirements: • Completion of secondary school is required • On-the-job training is provided • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment • Available to work daytime, evenings, and weekends as required How to apply: By email: sizzlingwok1108875@gmail.com We welcome applications from everyone, regardless of gender and ethnicity, as well as applications from underrepresented groups (aboriginal peoples, youth, older workers, persons with disabilities and recent immigrants).
