Horse stable foreman/woman Employer Epic Stables Job details Location Foothills, AB T1S 0W1 Work location On site Salary 28.01 hourly / 40 hours per week Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time Early morning, Morning, Day Starts as soon as possible 1 vacancy Overview Languages English Education No degree, certificate or diploma Experience 3 years to less than 5 years On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment Hay farming Dusty Hot Noisy Odours Outdoors Horse breeding Responsibilities Tasks Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas Direct farm grooming activities Groom horses in preparation for competitions and shows Handling animals Level earth to fine grade specifications Monitoring animal health Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures Carry out a pasture or pen breeding programs Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed Formulate feeding program Maintain quality control and production records Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs Train horses Perform general farm duties Supervision 1 to 2 people Experience and specialization Area of specialization Horses Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Physically demanding Attention to detail Personal suitability Organized Team player Who can apply for this job?
