Position Details Job Type: Full-time Hours: 30 hours per week Start Date: As soon as possible Education & Experience Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required Experience: Experience is an asset Certification: WHMIS Certificate (required or willingness to obtain) Responsibilities / Tasks Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors Dust furniture and household surfaces Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture Make beds and change linens Stock and organize linen closets Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances Pick up debris and empty trash containers Launder and fold household clothing and linens Mend clothing and linens as required Perform general light housekeeping and routine cleaning duties Assist with shopping for food and household supplies Wash windows, walls, and ceilings Perform snow maintenance operations, including handling snow removal equipment Prepare and cook nutritious meals Maintain cleanliness and organization of all living spaces Security & Safety Requirements Criminal record check Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities Ability to work independently Repetitive tasks Bending, crouching, kneeling Combination of sitting, standing, and walking Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Personal Suitability We are looking for someone who demonstrates: Dependability Initiative Strong organizational skills Values and ethics Honesty and trustworthiness
