Job Description
Location: 124-38 street SW, Edmonton, AB T6X 2W3 Work location: On site Salary 36.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies: 2 vacancies Source: Job Bank #3454790 Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience 3 years to less than 5 years On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment At heights Dusty Work setting Commercial Residential Responsibilities Tasks Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints Clean and prepare surfaces Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Bending, crouching, kneeling Hand-eye co-ordination Physically demanding Repetitive tasks Weight handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Personal suitability Dependability Judgement Reliability How to apply Direct Apply By Direct Apply By email one80constructioninc@gmail.com
