Job Description
• Employer: Private Household • Position: Child Caregiver – Private home • Terms of Employment: Full-time / Permanent • Location: Toronto, Ontario – Major Intersection: Leslie & 19th Ave. • Hours of Work: 30-40 hours per week • Language: English • Salary: $20-22 / hour • Children's Ages : School age [Duties]: • Sitting children in employer's own residence; • Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties • Bathe, dress and feed infants and children • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home • Organize, activities such as games and outings for children • Prepare and serve nutritious meals • Supervise and care for children • Take children to and from school and to appointments • Tend to emotional well-being of children • Help children with homework [Requirements]: • Previous child caregiving experience is an asset; • Comfortable being around kids in multiple ages; • Initiative, Organized, Reliability, Effective interpersonal skills • Completion of High School required; and • Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends, if needed. • •Criminal record check, Reference required • •Non-smoking Work site Environment Additional Skills • Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents [Contact]: please send resumes and reference letters to sage0216@gmail.com and include “child caregiver” in the email subject line.
