Provide comprehensive personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and maintaining personal hygiene with sensitivity to the child's physical and emotional needs. 2. Assist with medications including reminders, administration as directed by healthcare providers. 3. Prepare nutritious, age-appropriate meals and assist with feeding and feeding techniques. 4. Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning the child's room, washing laundry and maintaining a clean and safe environment. 5. Accompany the child with medical appointments, therapy sessions and social engagement. 6. Monitor and report changes in the child's physical, emotional or behavioral condition. 7. Support the child's participation in educational and developmental activities including helping with social work, therapy exercises and communication tools. 8 Provide mobility assistance such as walking clients to the park. 9. Implement behavior management strategies as directed by therapists by promoting a positive and supportive environment. 10. Engage the child in a sensory recreational and play activities tailored to their abilities and interest, to encourage cognitive and emotional development. 11. Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals to coordinate and ensure consistency in routines and support strategies. 12. Always ensure the child safety and well-being including practicing emergency procedures and using safety equipment as necessary. 13. Offer emotional support and companionship, fostering trust, confidence and a sense of inclusion for the child.
