Job Title: Drywall Installer Employer: NANAK CONSTRUCTION LTD. Location: #1030 4231 109 Ave NE Calgary, Alberta T3J 0L7 Salary: $36.10 hourly / 35 to 40 hours per Week Vacancies: 4 Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time 35 to 40 hours / week Start date: As soon as possible Employment groups: Youth, Indigenous people, Newcomers to Canada Overview Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience 7 months to less than 1 year On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment Outdoors Work setting Commercial Residential Various locations Responsibilities Tasks Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry Estimate costs and materials Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Handling heavy loads Physically demanding Weight handling Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) Own tools/equipment Steel-toed safety boots How to apply By email nanakconstructn@gmail.com
